Great stay with a few hiccups

My husband and I spent 2 nights here. The Lady Anne room was huge, and the bathroom was to die for! We loved the breakfast choices, everything was on point. Super close to the castle too. Only bummer was the parking—it felt a bit cramped. Still, the gardens were perfect for sunny days!

We had a wonderfully spacious room with high ceilings and an absolutely delicious full breakfast! The afternoon tea was a real treat overlooking the gardens. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement!

We enjoyed a delightful two-night stay, especially the gorgeous views from our double room and the serene back patio where we savored a delicious lunch. Friendly staff added a personal touch. For a better experience, consider upgrading room amenities for a touch of luxury during your stay.

Fantastic experience! The room was spacious and comfy, with views of lovely gardens. It was just a hop to the castle and vibrant downtown. Everything felt luxurious and delightful!

However, be prepared for a bit of a leg workout—no lift! If only the floors didn’t creak like my Aunt Edna's old knees!

It was just a well-suited match for a weekend rest in Kilkenny with excellent value for money. The little bar in the basement was charming and a great touch, offering a unique atmosphere. Be sure to ask questions. the night porter is really knowledgeable.

During my recent business trip, I found Butler House to be a delightful accommodation. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Kilkenny Castle and the town center. I appreciated the comfortable double room, complete with a desk and a cozy fan....  

We stayed in a Double Room and it was spacious and comfy. The huge bathroom was a plus, lots of storage too. Loved the big windows with views of the gardens, really nice vibe. Super quiet at night—slept like babies! The decor felt a bit old-school, but it added to the charm. Just wished for a better spot for shower products, but overall, it was pretty great!
